The following essay was created by an anonymous user as an article page, where it should have been put up as a blog post. They seemed very proud of it, so since I am deleting the article, I will put it in it's rightful place as a blog post.

Today, I am going to tell all the people who like reading fun-filled, exciting books with an amazing theme spoilers on The Giver. This is my interpretation of The Giver, and I hope you all enjoy.

Well first off, I would like to say kudos to you Lois Lowry, because this book is awesome. Anyway, I think that lois Lowry means to represent our community today. Think about it: we all follow the rules and get chastisement, we all go to school, for those of us who need community service hours or confirmation/graduation hours, we need to volunteer. The sae is with this community. People all work until they are old, and then they are disregarded and sent to a nursing home, or, in this community, the House of the Old. Kids all recieve gifts on their birthday, and as they grow up, they are expected to use these gifts with maturity. The list goes on and on. Continuing, I believe that the Giver/ Receiver of Memory represents our government. They hold precious information and that information cannot be told to us or else we will panic, only a selected few are chosen to receive this information, and they counsel Congress (or the Committee of Elders) if they are needed.

Thanks guys for reading, if you like this page leave a comment and tell me so that i can continue, if not ill end it. Thank you to all the readers and so far, I have not spoiled anything for you!
